- This position has college-wide responsibilities and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations.
Location will mainly be at the Blue Bell campus.
Basic Purpose:
The Judicial Affairs and Community Standards Manager, reporting to the Dean of Students, promotes a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment by overseeing the student conduct process and fostering adherence to campus standards. This role leads investigations into potential policy violations, facilitates equitable resolution processes, and develops educational initiatives to inform students about their rights, responsibilities, and the principles of civility and accountability. The manager also designs and delivers trainings and programs related to student policies and institutional compliance, while collaborating with key stakeholders to support student development and uphold community expectations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the College’s judicial officer; manage all aspects of the judicial process. This includes the investigation of all complaints for incidents of concern or alleged violation of college policy involving students as well as the selection, training, and supervision of the judicial board members. Coordinate and facilitate the hearing process in conjunction with the Dean of Students.
Lead the College’s Student Incident Report team to discuss current investigations. Provide follow-up to team members on status of investigations, as well as develop and send meeting agendas to team members. Prepare reports as needed.
Maintain all documentation related to investigation of complaints for incidents of concern or alleged violation of college policy involving students in Maxient. Develop and lead trainings on the use of Maxient for any college employees involved in student investigations.
Manage the College’s reporting requirements for student-related aspects of policies such as the Code of Conduct, Anti-Hazing, and Drug and Alcohol Abuse. Lead the Biennial Review Committee including drafting of the Biennial Review report, managing and implementing recommendations for students, as well as handling follow-up to college departments for recommendations impacting employee and/or guests on-campus.
Develop and implement “Know the Codes” awareness campaigns for students to build awareness for policies impacting students. Work collaboratively with areas such as Academic Affairs and Information Technology to build awareness for any student policies overseen by other units of the college that should be included in these campaigns. Develop, implement, and lead trainings and programming for students related to policies such as anti-hazing, drug and alcohol use, clean air, and the Student Code of Conduct. Work collaboratively with Marketing and Communications to develop a master communications plan for promotion of college-wide programming, trainings, and awareness campaigns for the Student Code of Conduct to leverage engagement from students.
Work collaboratively with Equity, Diversity, & Belonging, Campus Safety, and Title IX staff on the coordination of investigations and college process as they relate to judicial affairs.
Work collaboratively with other key stakeholders to support student development, restorative justice, and equity opportunities for student success.
Serves as a Student Affairs generalist, supporting broader student services initiatives and contributing to the development of an inclusive, student-centered campus environment.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Education/Training/Work Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, Social Work, Education, Counseling, Student Affairs, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience directly related to student conduct or judicial affairs.
Strong leadership skills, judgment, cultural competence, emotional intelligence, and highly developed listening, speaking, writing and organizational skills required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Colleague (or similar student information system).
Ability to maintain high level of confidentiality. 1.
Specialized Knwledge & Skills:
Proficiency in use of Maxient or similar student conduct software
Ability to work well with different people from diverse backgrounds and communities to promote cooperative interactions and outcomes.
