The Regional Manager will be responsible for driving growth, ensuring operational excellence, managing teams, and aligning regional objectives with the overall company strategy. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and exceptional communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight Monitor and improve daily operations across all properties to ensure consistency, efficiency, and resident satisfaction. Ensure leasing teams are meeting occupancy targets, delivering a high-quality leasing experience, managing the application and screening process, and actively engaging prospects through consistent CRM utilization. Stay informed on local market trends, competitive analysis, and pricing strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue. Leadership & Team Development Lead, support, and empower property managers and on-site teams to achieve operational excellence. Conduct regular site visits to monitor property performance, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to company standards. Oversee employee performance evaluations, timesheet compliance, and the annual review process. Turn Management & Maintenance Oversee the turn process ensuring timely and cost-effective unit turnovers. Oversee the maintenance operations across all properties to ensure high standards of service and resident satisfaction. Ensure all work orders are processed promptly, tracked efficiently, and resolved with quality workmanship to minimize or eliminate callbacks. Collaborate with the maintenance team to implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols. Financial Management Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasting, and financial reporting. Analyze financial performance and take corrective actions to meet or exceed targets. Compliance & Legal Ensure all properties operate in full compliance with company policies, fair housing laws, and local, state, and federal regulations. Oversee timely filing of legal documents and coordinate with legal counsel on evictions or compliance-related issues. Reporting & Communication Provide regular reports to senior leadership on performance metrics, property status, and team updates. Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. 5+ years of multi-unit management experience Proven track record of driving business results and managing large teams. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficient in data analysis, budgeting, and project management. Willingness to travel frequently within the region. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Proficient in property management software (e.g., Yardi, AppFolio) and Microsoft Office Suite.
