Job Summary The Youth Program Manager & Front Desk Supervisor is a dynamic leadership role responsible for managing the youth climbing team while also supervising front desk operations. This position plays a key role in fostering a culture of exceptional experiences for youth athletes, guests, and team members. The ideal candidate is passionate about climbing, youth development, and mentoring both guests and team members. They will lead by example, uphold Movement’s mission and core values, and drive both team and operational excellence. Hours allocated per week between responsibilities will be determined by business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

Youth Team Management Lead and manage the youth climbing team program and climbing camps in alignment with Movement’s vision and values. Develop and implement training plans tailored to individual and team goals. Coach 2-4 days per week and attend competitions and events as needed. Oversee backend administration including scheduling, communication, safety tracking, and ordering supplies. Plan and execute team events such as mock comps, training camps, and social gatherings. Manage the youth team business unit, including financial targets and revenue goals. Front Desk Supervision Supervise front desk operations during peak hours, ensuring excellent customer service. Mentor and support front desk team members, providing training and feedback and fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Communicate policy changes, upcoming events/updates, and business goals to the team. Support retail operations, event planning, and community engagement initiatives. Delegates facility upkeep and cleaning tasks to front desk team members. Ensure safety and risk management procedures are followed by guests and staff. Promote an inclusive and welcoming environment for all community members. Respond to guest feedback and escalate concerns appropriately. Other duties as assigned Job Requirements Experience with youth climbing programs and USA Climbing events preferred. Strong climbing background and knowledge of training techniques. Proven leadership and mentoring skills in both youth and adult team settings. Excellent customer service, mentorship, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities, including administrative and operational tasks, and adapt to changing priorities. Demonstrates courage to do the right thing and face challenges to manage positive customer relationships and interactions; asks for help when needed. Proficiency in computer applications (Word, Excel, POS systems, web-based tools). Available to work evenings and weekends; able to travel for competitions. Current or ability to obtain USA Climbing Coach membership, Safesport, First Aid, and CPR certifications. Experience with budgeting and financial targets is a plus.
