ROLE OVERVIEW

The Community Resource Program Supervisor will oversee and support the Community Resource Coordinator program across Cherokee, Spartanburg, and Union counties. This program is designed to assist families across a range of economic needs, with a focus on helping low•to moderate-income households: (1) meet critical needs, (2) overcome barriers to self-sufficiency, and (3) build a pathway to financial security. The Supervisor will manage all CRC staff, provide direct training and guidance, and contribute to shaping the strategic direction of our financial security initiatives. Additionally, the Supervisor will serve as a site coordinator during our VITA tax season.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Works collaboratively with the Senior Director of Community Programs in support of the mission and vision of the Financial Stability Taskforce.
In partnership with the Senior Director of Community Programs, manages partnerships with Community Resource Coordinator (CRC) sites.
Provide direct supervision of CRC team and provide proper recruitment/hiring, onboarding, training and evaluation of these staff members.
Maintain a medium case load: perform case management duties, including client intake interviews, referrals, and follow-ups using the assessment tools within Charity Tracker as well as other care coordination tools.
Successfully track, manage and report goal attainment.
Manage the oversight of the McKinney Vento restricted and homeless prevention funds for United Way as well as each CRC’s restricted funds.
Initiate collaborative opportunities and facilitate meetings that grow partnerships related to basic needs and financial stability services.
Participate in personal development and leadership seminars as requested, as well as workshops, staff meetings, webinars, conferences, training refresher courses and other meetings.
Maintain integrity and keep all sensitive information confidential.
Must be able to work a flexible schedule with the possibility of some early morning and evenings.
Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

You must have:
A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in human services, administration, social work or some related field;
At least 3 years’ experience in program coordination;
At least 3 years of supervisory experience;
A passing a background check and drug screen to be considered for employment.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong ability to build relationships, collaborate across teams, and influence others.
Demonstrated customer service, professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical integrity.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to multitask under pressure.
Adaptable, resourceful, and able to shift priorities in a dynamic work environment.
Proficient in standard software applications with the ability to learn and new tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strategic thinking and decision-making capabilities.
Comfortable presenting to diverse audiences and interpreting complex documents or regulations.
Reliable with consistent attendance, a valid driver’s license, and daily transportation.
Willingness to obtain VITA certification and serve as a tax site coordinator, supporting volunteer and CRC teams during tax season.
Bonus points if you have:
At least 3 years of case management, coaching, or mentoring.

This role includes a variety of activities such as sitting, standing, talking, and using a computer or phone.
