Heartwood Furnished Homes is a locally owned and operated Property Management Firm specializing in short term vacation rentals for the Greater Columbia and Lake Murray areas. We are dedicated to creating exceptional experiences for property owners and guests. We are seeking an experienced, Property Manager to bring their expertise to our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
Owner Relations:
As the first point of contact for our property owners, you will develop and build a strong relationship by proactively communicating and becoming the subject matter expert of those properties. You will act as a liaison between the owner and all internal Heartwood Furnished Homes departments. Coordinate all property repairs, and property improvements. Collaborate with property owners to establish and achieve revenue goals. Meet and maintain Heartwood Furnished Homes high standards and metrics related to owner/guest satisfaction and property appearance. Support your team with escalated guest and homeowner concerns by responding to emails and calls within a timely manner. A sense of urgency and follow-up as well as follow-through for excellent outcomes is needed. Work with team to ensure the successful onboarding of new client’s properties as required. Conduct inspections of your property portfolio and log any maintenance issues in system and communicate needed improvements to the owner. Establish and maintain open, collaborative relationships with fellow team members and upper management. Provide cross-coverage for the team when necessary. Manage online reviews related to your assigned properties and address issues with the proper departments as needed.
Property Management:
Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and cleaning services to uphold quality standards. Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any issues promptly. Oversee the onboarding of new vacation rental properties.
Marketing and Communication:
Implement updates to property marketing and internal documentation Communicate property updates, improvements, and promotions to enhance guest experience.
Qualifications:
2+ years of property management, management, and/or account management experience in the Vacation Rental field. Valid drivers license. Exceptional interpersonal and professional communication skills such as email, phone calls video calls and texts. Ability to work independently or within a team. Ability to work well under pressure in an agile, fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to change activity frequently and cope with interruptions. Highly responsive and reliable Computer literate with proficiency in web-based apps. Must live locally and be able to commute to work. Strong attention to detail Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
