Do you have experience coordinating event logistics and assigning staff assignments to ensure smooth and efficient event operations?
Are you skilled at sourcing and negotiating with vendors, venues, and caterers? As the primary point of contact for service and community mentoring opportunities within the Capstone Scholars Program, the Capstone Scholars Program Lead will cultivate partnerships both on campus and in the broader community. They will support student leaders in developing service events and programming and engage with students through one-on-one meetings and drop-in hours. Additionally, the Capstone Scholars Program Lead will contribute to other Capstone Scholars’ programming and events, ensuring a student-focused approach.

Key Responsibilities:

Meet with Capstone Scholars during drop-in hours and through one-on-one consultations.
Develop, oversee, and evaluate service and outreach events both on and off-campus for first and second-year Capstone Scholars.
Building cross-campus and community partnerships to enhance civic engagement.
Manage the Civic Engagement Training certification series (CET) for Capstone Scholars.
Track certification requirements in cooperation with the other Capstone Scholars Program Leads.
