Need a polished

HOUSE MANAGER

for a residential estate in the Forest Hills area of Nashville, TN. Home is 8,300 SQ FT with 7 beds and 5 baths with a family of three residing. Start will be June 2025. This is a full-time role. Hours are Monday through Friday from 9am – 6pm. Candidates with schedule flexibility will be preferred. Principal is looking for a diligent, professional, and list-oriented candidate who can anticipate needs. Must have a can-do attitude, passion for organization, confidence when speaking with vendors, and strong writing/communication skills. The two major components to this role are house maintenance and driving. House maintenance includes the scheduling of all maintenance, repair, and construction teams for the home: housekeeper and deep clean team, tech/IT consultant, lawn care, pool care, pet care, elevator inspection etc. As for repair/construction teams, House Manager is expected to procure three quotes, walk any jobs with vendors, understand their work lists, and work as an advocate for the family until construction is finished. Driving includes errands, picking up 11YO daughter from school/activities, picking up and dropping off dry cleaning, grocery shopping etc. While there is not an expressed childcare requirement for this role, the House Manager must love kids and be willing to supervise as needed. While housekeeping duties are few and far between, House Manager is expected to lend a helping hand as needed. Some requirements may be, tidying up after a party, sweeping, dishes, and taking out the trash etc. NOTE, there is a full-time housekeeper on staff. General organizational duties will be required including kitchen pantry, bathrooms, bedrooms, stock rooms, and garage. Principal loves floral arrangements, so anyone with a passion for flowers would be wonderful. Candidates who are also willing to do very light food prep for a few meals per week will be preferred. notes on the overall household: this is a NO shoes home (except for parties), AND all household employees are unable to wear scented lotions or perfumes. Employees are welcome to remove shoes or wear indoor only foot attire. Principal prioritizes boundaries, and appreciates discretion, as well as autonomy of her employees. House Manager can choose to operate on a personal or a work phone. An Apple macbook will be provided. There is an open-air office in the home to work from as well. Note, there is one non-shedding dog in the home along with a long-haired cat. Both are extremely friendly!

Salary:

Based on experience. Open to payment via 1099 or W2, as well as, bi weekly or weekly. 2 weeks paid vacation with additional 3 sick days. $250/mo health insurance stipend.

Overnights:

YES, although infrequent. House Manager would be required to supervise 11YO daughter (during some periods), along with the dog and cat.
