Position Summary:

As a House Manager , you will be the heartbeat of our residential team, overseeing the well-being, health, and safety of the persons supported in your care. You’ll supervise and support the residential staff, ensure proper care is being provided, and promote independence through daily activities like personal hygiene, recreation, and community involvement. Most importantly, you’ll foster a safe, respectful environment where everyone feels valued.

Key Responsibilities:
Staff Supervision & Training :

Lead, train, and provide ongoing support to the residential staff to ensure quality care and compliance with policies.

Daily Operations :

Manage household tasks, medical administration, and ensure daily documentation is completed accurately.

Community Engagement :

Facilitate meaningful activities, support community outings, and assist persons supported with developing life skills.

Health & Safety :

Ensure all safety protocols, fire drills, and medical needs are managed effectively.

Service Coordination :

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, review service plans, and advocate for persons supported’ needs.

What We’re Looking For:
Experience :

1-2 years working with persons supported with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Supervisory experience is a plus!

Qualifications :

High school diploma or GED (preferred), valid driver’s license, ability to communicate effectively.

Passion & Compassion :

A heart for supporting others, with the ability to empower persons supported to live independently and with dignity.

Commitment :

Must pass TB test, criminal background check, and clear driving record, and negative drug test. Must attend and pass all required DDA and PDI trainings.

Physical Demands:

The role requires regular movement, lifting, and the ability to assist persons supported with mobility or physical tasks. Flexibility is key, as you may need to fill in for staff during shifts or assist with heavy lifting (up to 75 pounds). Join Our Mission of Empowerment and Independence!
