Overview The Community Manager acts under the direction of the Regional Property Manager, managing all aspects of the financial and operational performance of an assigned community, including leading and supervising team members, overseeing leasing, marketing, collections, resident relations, maintenance, supplier contracts, capital improvements, weekly and monthly reporting, community safety, and legal compliance. You must be able to demonstrate the highest level of service, creating a warm, welcoming environment and addressing the concerns and needs of our residents in a friendly and professional manner, and must also have good organizational abilities, communication skills, and attention to detail.
Additional responsibilities include:
Train, coach, mentor, and motivate all on-site team members, leading by example and creating a team environment Maintain in-depth knowledge of the associated market, market rents, and demographics Develop and implement marketing and leasing strategies to attract and retain residents and achieve occupancy and revenue goals Manage full resident lifecycle activities (lease administration, rent collection, delinquency management) Prepare and manage the property budget and financials Develop and maintain strong business relationships with ownership, providing accurate and timely information/updates on property successes and areas of improvement Conduct regular property inspections and take appropriate actions to ensure that the physical aspects of the property, grounds, buildings, and amenities are maintained Address and resolve resident service issues Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent required; college degree or industry designation preferred 3+ years of property management experience, including sales/multi-family leasing and supervisory responsibility Knowledge of resident rental lifecycle activities Knowledge of budgets and financial statements Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Yardi Voyager, and social media platforms A sharp and professional appearance along with a positive attitude Valid driver’s license Bilingual preferred Benefits Our people are our priority and with this in mind, we have designed a comprehensive benefits package that provides you and your family tools for healthy living and peace of mind.
