• Job Summary:

• The Residential Supervisor oversees department managers to ensure adherence to policies and regulations. They train, mentor, and support staff to maintain person-centered practices and ensure safety for individuals in their homes and community.

• Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with guidelines and policies in assigned programs.

Supervise, train, and advocate for staff to improve the quality of life for individuals supported. Conduct regular visits and oversee medication management. Review and approve staff time/PTO, evaluations, and audits promptly. Promote community involvement and provide support with daily living activities. Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of information. Participate in team meetings and follow agency policies and procedures. Assist with House Manager/DSP duties as needed. Treat individuals supported with respect at all times.

• Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience in supporting individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, 1+ year in a supervisory role (preferred). Class D Driver license for the State of Tennessee. Current CPR/First Aid Certification.

• Required Skills:

• High integrity and excellent communication skills. Ability to coach, train staff, and remain calm under pressure. Strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft products. Attention to detail, analytical thinking, and planning abilities.

• Work Environment/Conditions:

• The position requires flexibility in hours, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and travel to events or meetings. On-call availability may be necessary.

• Other Requirements:

• TB test within 30 days of employment.
