The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills, a solid understanding of property management principles, and the ability to effectively negotiate and resolve issues. This role requires a proactive approach to facilities management, ensuring that all properties are maintained to the highest standards while fostering positive relationships with tenants and stakeholders. Duties Manage all aspects of property operations, including tenant relations, leasing, and maintenance. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including Section 8 and LIHTC requirements. Utilize property management software such as Yardi for tracking leases, payments, and maintenance requests. Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while maintaining positive relationships with tenants. Coordinate maintenance activities through a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure timely repairs and upkeep. Conduct regular property inspections to identify issues and implement necessary improvements. Prepare and maintain accurate records related to property management activities, including financial reports and tenant files. Address tenant inquiries and concerns promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred. Strong knowledge of laws governing property management practices. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with tenants and vendors. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi; experience with CMMS is a plus. Strong negotiation skills with an ability to resolve conflicts amicably. Familiarity with facilities management principles and practices. Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently. A detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills.
