Wethersfield Salary Range:
$66,558•$85,778/year•plus State of Connecticut benefits. New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary for existing state employees may be higher than the minimum, in accordance with existing Judicial Branch policy.

Seeking a qualified individual for the position of Administrative Trainee in the Office of Victim Services•Communications Unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks: Contributing to the development of written communications materials, including presentations, reports, website content, brochures, and posters.
Presenting information publicly to criminal justice professionals and stakeholders in trainings, presentations, and community outreach events.
Designing charts, tables, graphics, and presentation layouts that communicate analysis and information.
The successful candidate must have good written and oral communication skills, comfort with speaking publicly about victim issues, good interpersonal skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suite especially PowerPoint, and have knowledge of trauma-informed services and advocacy. In-state travel will be required.
DIVISION
Office of the Chief Court Administrator; Superior Court
CLASS DEFINITION
Under the direction of an employee of higher grade, receives on-the-job training in introductory court administration for a technical or professional position within the Judicial Department.
EXAMPLES OF DUTIES
Receives on-the-job training to qualify for advancement into a technical or professional level position within a division; performs a variety of increasingly responsible tasks in one or more administrative units; performs related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree.•
Note:
Incumbents with a Master’s degree may be hired at step 2 of the pay group.
APPOINTMENT
Appointment to positions in this class shall be for a period not to exceed twenty-four months.
