Administrative Trainee State of Connecticut Judicial BranchWethersfield The State of Connecticut Judicial Branch is seeking aqualified individual for the position of Administrative Trainee inthe Office of Victim Services – Communications Unit. The successfulcandidate will be responsible for the following tasks: Contributingto the development of written communications materials, includingpresentations, reports, website content, brochures, and posters.
Presenting information publicly to criminal justice professionalsand stakeholders in trainings, presentations, and communityoutreach events. Designing charts, tables, graphics, andpresentation layouts that communicate analysis and information. Thesuccessful candidate must have good written and oral communicationskills, comfort with speaking publicly about victim issues, goodinterpersonal skills, experience with Microsoft Office Suiteespecially PowerPoint, and have knowledge of trauma-informedservices and advocacy. In-state travel will be required.
SalaryRange:
$66,558 – $85,778/year – plus State of Connecticut benefits.
New employees begin at the minimum. The starting salary forexisting state employees may be higher than the minimum, inaccordance with existing Judicial Branch policy. EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING MINIMUMQUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
A Bachelor’s or a Master’s degree.•

Incumbents with a Master’s degree may be hired at step 2 of the paygroup.
