Director of Private and Medicaid Pending Management Aston Health 10150 Highland Manor Drive, Tampa, FL 33610 Director of Private and Medicaid Pending Management We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Private and Medicaid Pending Management to lead our Business Office operations within our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). This role is responsible for overseeing private collections, managing Medicaid-pending accounts, ensuring compliance with resident trust accounts, and developing policies and procedures to optimize revenue cycle performance. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SNF billing, collections, and Medicaid processes, as well as a proven track record of leadership in a business office setting.

Director of Private and Medicaid Pending Management Responsibilities:

Private Collections:

Oversee and ensure timely collection of private pay accounts while maintaining positive resident and family relationships.

Medicaid Pending Management:

Manage the Medicaid pending process, working closely with residents, families, and state agencies to facilitate approvals and minimize outstanding balances.

Resident Trust Oversight:

Ensure compliance with all regulations regarding resident trust funds, including proper documentation, reporting, and reconciliation.

Policy Development:

Create, update, and implement policies and procedures related to business office operations to enhance efficiency and compliance.

Cash Receipts & Reporting:

Supervise the accurate recording and reporting of all cash receipts, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Refund Processing:

Oversee the processing of refunds in accordance with regulatory guidelines and facility policies.

Leadership & Training:

Supervise and mentor business office staff, providing ongoing training to ensure compliance with the best practices in skilled nursing financial management.

Director of Private and Medicaid Pending Management Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in skilled nursing billing and collections 3+ years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing business office 3+ years of experience managing Medicaid Pending accounts in a SNF setting Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and private insurance billing Experience with resident trust fund compliance and regulations Proficiency in financial reporting, cash receipt management, and reconciliation Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and external agencies This is a dynamic opportunity for a skilled Director of Private and Medicaid Pending Management to make a significant impact on our facility’s financial health.
