The role also involves managing relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing administrative processes, and providing mid-level management support for various research, service, and education initiatives. Will work closely with faculty, fellows, and external partners to ensure the success of the center’s activities. The candidate will be responsible for supporting faculty in quantitative and/or qualitative research. This will include preparation of research reports, contract deliverables, publications in refereed and other professional writings, and participation in departmental research. Duties will also include assisting with preparation of IRB applications and data use agreements, program evaluations, and grant proposals. Specifically, the project manager will develop a tracking system for managing all contracts, data use agreements, IRB approvals, and manuscript submissions to assure timely completion of deliverables, submissions, and renewals. The program manager will thus be in charge of day-to-day coordination of all Center activities. They will also be the Center’s liaison with department and College-level budget staff and grants management staff (pre and post award) to assure effective communication and accurate financial management. They will also work with departmental staff to assure effective website management and social media outreach as needed. Produce written reports of studies that include sound methodology, comprehensive literature review, and that meet the guidelines and standards of both the Florida State University and project stakeholders. Coordinate the analysis of data, including dataset/database management, data quality control, data analysis, and synthesis. Communicate with project faculty and team members, funding agencies, other University faculty and staff, and other external constituencies. In the training arena, the Program Manager will assist in the scheduling of resident rotation activities, managing students working with the Center, and will manage new initiatives such as the development of additional educational programs such as symposia or residency accreditation applications. May also require light travel related to coordinating data collection including, but not limited to: phone interviews, in person interviews, focus groups, experimental and clinical data collection, and/or surveys as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree and four years of experience related to health and human services; or a high school diploma/equivalent and experience equal to eight years. (

post-high school education may substitute for experience at the equivalent rate.) This position requires successful completion of the eSPEAR Certification or ability to obtain the certification within 6 months of hire.
