Job Description
The Senior Program Coordinator for the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Enrichment (FSE) serves as the primary advisor for one of five Greek councils and will advise the departments honor society, Order of Omega. Collaborate with the Associate Director on coordinating community programming, educational workshops, and leadership development programs such as council leadership retreats. Oversees philanthropic and service initiatives connected to the Fraternity and Sorority experience. This position will manage the Fraternity and Sorority social media and marketing initiatives. Serves on University-wide committees and assist with Student Life and Development signature programs. Serves as the primary advisor for one of five Greek councils and will advise the departments honor society, Order of Omega. Manages budget, recruitment and programming efforts for the council. Supports Student Life & Development on major programs. Develops and maintains collaborative partnerships with Division and University departments and offices. Serves as a liaison between the department and the Greek councils in order to ensure successful programming and compliance. Assists the Associate Director with developing programming and administrative responsibilities for Fraternity and Sorority Enrichment. Reviews, evaluates, makes recommendation, and ensures compliance with Fraternity and Sorority Enrichment policies and guidelines. Provides individual chapter support and guidance. Assists in expansion efforts. Oversees philanthropic and service initiatives connected to the Fraternity and Sorority experience, including with university partners and community agencies. Assists with Fraternity & Sorority Enrichment social media and marketing initiatives. Serves on Division-wide committees on behalf of the Center for Fraternity & Sorority Enrichment and Student Life & Development. Provides guidance to the chapters within their respective councils that are in academic probation, in order to ensure compliance. Provides guidance to the Greek councils on policy and accountability. Supervises FSE student employees and provides them with training, and feedback to ensure growth and learning opportunities. Employee will have access to a third-party system (software, gateway, etc.) that processes, transmits, and/or stores cardholder information. May handle cash/gift card transactions. Minimum Qualifications – Bachelor’s degree and three (3) years of office or related experience. Desired Qualifications – Master’s degree in appropriate area of specialization (Higher Education, College Student Personnel, Counseling, etc). Experience with or understanding of Sorority and Fraternity Life. Experience and/or passion for working with a dynamic and diverse student population are essential.
