This is aunique opportunity to provide strategic direction and operationaloversight for a vibrant Gulf Coast community committed to progressand service excellence. The city was officially incorporated in1925 and currently has a population of 3,485. The city’sapproximate general fund budget is $ 8 million, and it has a staffof about 70 employees. Six public parks vary in size and offer arange of amenities for the public. The city has a water plant thatprovides water service, vegetative brush collection for citizens,and city-staffed police and fire departments. The City Council /CRA Board consists of five members, and several boards andcommittees meet regularly. City Hall is located at 6333 Ridge Rd.
