Job Description
Criminal Process Assistant Supervisor Pasco Sheriff’s Office New Port Richey, FL 34654 JOB SUMMARY Responsible civilian position that supervises staff of the Criminal Process Section. Incumbent is required to have knowledge of and the ability to perform the duties of their subordinates. Position is responsible for reviewing work product of subordinates as needed. This position assists with the training needs of the section, which includes but is not limited to: orchestrating weekly training for the staff, working with the staff to develop each member’s performance, and monitoring the training for a newly assigned position/member. Works closely with and provides direction to unit members for day-to-day operations, within set parameters of authority. Coordinates and maintains professional working relationship with various sections within the agency and liaison for outside Criminal Justice Stakeholders. This position may also assist the Compliance Administrator when directed by the Criminal Process Administrator. The position exercises independent judgment, problem solving and discretion within set parameters of authority.
EOE/ADA EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required. Computer, clerical skills required. Ability to type a minimum of 35 words per minute and a minimum of one year of experience working with
FCIC/NCIC
systems, court documents, and criminal justice stakeholders required. A minimum of two years of Teletype experience preferred. Experience as a trainer preferred. Must be able to obtain and maintain
FCIC/NCIC
certification. Public safety software experience preferred. Must maintain a valid Florida Driver’s License at all times. Unescorted CJIS clearance as authorized by FDLE is required.
MINIMUM PHYSICAL AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
