This role will include staff recruitment, hiring and management, program licensing and regulatory compliance, documentation and budgeting. This position also encompasses community outreach to seek recognition and financial support through grants, sponsorship and partnerships. This position requires a motivated and compassionate leader to support the mission of Ruth’s Promise Adult Day Program through strategic planning, collective management and comprehensive oversight.

Duties include:

Actively seeks positive recognition and financial support for the program through community outreach, sponsorships, grants and optimized program participation. Builds productive partnerships with community groups, sponsors and stakeholders. Ensures comprehensive, collaborative communication with and between staff members, volunteers and stakeholders so all are respected and treated in a dignified manner. Works with Director of Operations to assess potential participants for program eligibility. Maintains all documentation for participant admission and monitoring, and ensures that individual participant needs are addressed. Assists Director of Operations with coordination of family support and maintaining broad knowledge of available community resources. Maintains program licensing and regulatory compliance. Reports to appropriate agencies and assures HIPPA regulations are followed. Ensures all records of employees, volunteers and participants meet regulatory requirements and best business practices. Monitors financial performance including developing an annual budget and monthly performance reports with financial reports provided to the Advisory Council on a monthly basis. Manages cash flow and purchasing operations. Collaborates with Director of Operations to recruit and hirestaff and volunteers. Education, experience, required knowledge, skills and abilities Prior adult day care experience preferred. Must have one of the following: 1. One year of staff supervisory experience in a social services or health care services setting, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in providing services to persons who have dementia. Bachelor’s degree in health care services, social services, or a related field is preferred.2. Licensed registered or practical nurse in Florida, with one year of staff supervisory experience in a social services or health care services setting, and a minimum of 1 year of experience in providing services to persons who have dementia.3. Five years of staff supervisory experience in a social services or health care services setting and a minimum of 3 years of experience in providing services to persons who have dementia. Excellent human relations and communication skills with ability to work as a team member, communicate with family and the public and maintain dignity and confidentiality or participants and family. Level II background check required.
