). The purpose and focus of this position are to maintain roads, bridges, rights of way, and manage inmate labor. Duties may include but are not limited to: picking up and returning inmates, supervising inmates abiding by the rules in place and answering to the Warden of the Correctional Institute, and the Road Superintendent; performing work as assigned; inspect vehicles and job sites for contrabands; operates chipper, chainsaws, weed eater, asphalt hot box; cleans pipes, driveways, and bridges, trim and removed tree limbs; and, other duties as assigned. You are required to attend a training course at the Correctional Institute. The successful applicant must pass a pre-employment background investigation, drug screen, and interview(s). High school diploma or GED preferred.
