They analyze financial data, prepare budgets, monitor performance, and make recommendations for improvements. This role often involves supervising a team of budget analysts or staff, as well as coordinating with other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Budget Development:
Developing and managing budgeting processes, including preparing financial projections and budgets for various departments.
Budget Monitoring and Analysis:
Monitoring budget performance, identifying areas for cost savings, and making adjustments as needed. This includes analyzing financial trends and making recommendations for budget adjustments.
Supervisory Duties:
Supervising and managing a team of budget analysts or staff, including hiring, performance management, and training.
Reporting and Communication:
Preparing and presenting budget reports to senior management, as well as responding to budget inquiries and providing support to other departments.
Compliance:
Ensuring compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and regulations.
Skills and Qualifications:
