Position Overview:

Statewide Housing Placement Manager
ing to the Director of State Housing Programs, the Statewide Housing Placement
Manager is responsible for providing instruction, direction, and guidance to direct reports,
ensuring productivity and goal achievement. The Statewide Housing Placement Manager will
possess substantial knowledge of housing application requirements, screening criteria, and
subsidy approval processes.
The Statewide Housing Placement Manager will be responsible for supporting team members
to facilitate housing placements for households with or without rental subsidies. The
Statewide Housing Placement Manager should demonstrate fluency with each project’s
Policies and Procedures; be able to present program data to stakeholders; and conduct
routine quality assurance of all client data entry.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsibilities include staying abreast of Housing Collaborative’s programs; and constant
interaction with colleagues, clients, partner agencies, property providers, and funders.
Responsibilities also include but are not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of Housing Collaborative’s service areas;
  • Effectively manage and monitor daily operation of a housing placement team;
  • Supervise and coach direct reports, providing access to the information and training
    necessary to perform their job responsibilities;
  • Ensure data quality and timely reporting of program performance data;
  • Accountability to performance goals and measures as outlined in an annual workplan;
  • Maintain respectful, professional working relationships with partner agencies, housing
    providers, services providers, tenants, funders, and colleagues.
    Qualifications
    To excel in this position, the candidate should offer:
  • At least five years of significant experience in housing and/or homeless services;
  • Undergraduate degree preferred, but 2 years of additional relevant experience may be
    considered in lieu of a degree;
  • Familiarity with housing resources, rental subsidy requirements, fair housing, and
    landlord-tenant laws;
  • Clear and empathetic written and verbalmunication that demonstrates quality
    customer service and attention to detail;
  • Productive time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks;
  • Willingness to collaborate with coworkers, partner agencies, and customers;
  • Amitment to second chances, and to the mission and vision of Housing Collaborative.

Hours
This is a salaried position is expected toplete 40 hours of work per week, typically
between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday. Remote, hybrid and flexible schedules may be
available at the discretion ofanizational leadership, dependent upon nature of position and job
performance; however, trainings, meetings, and team-building opportunities are regularly
scheduled to occur in-person for all staff.
