Delaware North Gaming is hiring an HHR Slot Shift Manager to join our team at Gate City Casino in Nashua, New Hampshire. The HHR Slot Shift Manager oversees daily operations on the casino floor, ensuring slot machines are functioning properly and guests receive prompt, professional service. This role will supervise slot attendants and technicians, manage scheduling, and handle customer disputes or machine issues. Anticipated Maximum Base Salary:

$61,200 – $82,600 / year

What will you do?
Direct responsibility for all facets of operations on the gaming floor, with all HHR Operation Attendants as direct reports.
Monitor and initiate all HHR Department Guest Service initiatives including jackpot response time, team member scorecards, introductions, and new guest sign-ups (with emails and phone numbers). Actively seek new Guest Service initiatives to further elevate the performance of the slot team.

Guest Service:

Ensure outstanding guest service by responding promptly to guest needs and requests for service. Require this from every Team Member within the department. Deliver on commitments.
Handle guest disputes, machine malfunctions, and team member issues. See each issue through to its conclusion.
Fulfill an operational role on the gaming floor by participating in every aspect of HHR Operations including initiating/witnessing jackpots, signing up new guests, and promoting HHR events.
Evaluate the gaming floor and communicate changes and report all operational issue(s) to the Director of Gaming and/or HHR Technical Manager. Promote and maintain the highest integrity and the premier Guest service. Make sure the HHR Department is operating efficiently and successfully in all areas.
Make sure proper implementation of established policies and procedures pertaining to the Gaming Floor.
Make sure cleanliness on the floor is a top priority on all shifts.
Review training process, plan and timelines with new HHR Operation Attendants.
Create and send out schedules timely and ensure staffing levels are maintained.
Manage daily breaks for team members.
Review all areas of responsibility and expectations.
Always maintain operation of HHR machines with minimal downtime.
Assist the Players’ Club, as needed.
More about you
2-3 years of proven gaming management experience, with a thorough understanding of NH Lottery laws, HHR systems, and internal controls.
Stay current with all New Hampshire Lottery laws, rules, updates and changes.
Stays up to date with all new HHR machine hardware, software and technology.
Ability to utilize the HHR computer system as well as strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Thorough understanding of Title 31 to ensure adherence to and compliance with federal cash reporting requirements.
Strong communication skills both within the HHR department and all other departments.
Knowledge of the HHR systems and ability to use all programs.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a New Hampshire Gaming License.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. Ability to read, analyze and interpret common scientific and technical journals, gaming documents and troubleshooting manuals.
Great knowledge of NHLC regulations and Gate City Casino Internal Controls.
Strong computer skills.
Knowledge of basic math and ability to understand HHR pay lines.
Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external guests.
