Team Leader – Housing Supports Program NewBridge Services, Inc. Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 • Hybrid work Job Summary The Program Leader plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing a program aimed at supporting individuals residing independently in the community. This position requires a dedicated professional who can effectively lead and provide day-to-day supervision of direct service and administrative staff, ensure compliance with regulations, and provide essential support services. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in crisis management, case management, and negotiation, while also being knowledgeable about housing regulations and Managed Care Organizations. Duties Lead and manage program operations to ensure effective service delivery and compliance with relevant regulations. Provide crisis intervention and management support to clients facing challenging situations. Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies that address client needs. Negotiate agreements with stakeholders to enhance program effectiveness. Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations and other applicable laws, including LIHTC and Section 8 guidelines. Monitor program outcomes and prepare reports. Carry an ad-hoc for uninterrupted service delivery. Some on-call response for emergency situations. Qualifications Proven experience in case management and providing services for special populations. Strong understanding of addiction counseling principles and practices. Familiarity with LIHTC, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8, and other housing programs. Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients. Experience with crisis intervention techniques and crisis management strategies. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A commitment to serving diverse populations with empathy and respect. Lived experience of unstable housing or homelessness and/or as a NJ FamilyCare participant will be favorably considered. This is a hybrid opportunity with up to 7-10 hours/week available as work from home, with the remainder being working onsite or in the field.
