  • Multi Family Housing, you will play a pivotal role in individuals’ lives, making a significant impact through: Providing direct and regular supervision to the Housing Managers, Case Managers, Case Workers, Life Enhancement Coordinators and Resident Advisors.

Overseeing apartment sites operations, as well as after-hours emergency on call response in collaboration with other Directors and staff. In cooperation with the members of the Leadership Team, develop and maintain programs and services to meet the needs of the individuals residing in the permanent housing programs. Specific emphasis should be placed on meeting the needs of the homeless and residents of low-income housing. Prepare funding proposals, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to funding and regulatory entities including U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance; New York State Homes & Community Renewal, as well as internally to Catholic Charities. Collects statistical information, narratives and provides information for submission to local, county, state, and federal funders. Tenant relations and mediation of conflicts/grievances requiring CCHO Administrative level response. Maintain linkages in the supportive housing and homeless service provider community; participate in Continua of Care/homeless coalitions in which CCHO operates Multi-Family housing. Perform tenant file and case management file audits of Family Apartments, Affordable, Delaware, and Multi-Family housing sites to ensure program compliance with applicable rules and regulations of IRS Low Income Housing Tax Credit, U.S, Department of HUD, New York State Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, and Public Housing Authorities administering Shelter Plus Care and Section-8 Project Based Vouchers. Audits the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) for timely and accurate service delivery records submitted by case managers. In cooperation with the Leadership Team, assist in the development and maintenance of programs and services to meet the needs of the individuals residing in the continuum of CCHO operated housing. Specific emphasis should be placed on meeting the needs of the homeless and residents of low-income housing. Program Director

  • Multi Family Housing Schedule:

  • Friday, 8:30am
  • 5pm (37.

5 hours/week) On-call shifts required

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services (preferred) or a related field Low Income Housing Tax Credit Certification (LIHTC Certification) 1
