PURPOSE OF POSITION
Under the direction of the Deputy Chief Financial Officer, oversees the financial health of the service lines and directs organizational sectors in fiscal and financial operations which include cost, access, revenue and expense budgets, growth and business planning
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Ensures that each department meets all financial markets 2. Develop service line reports that will assist in making smart business decisions 3. Ensures that all patient and EPIC workflow’s add value to the customer and that all processes are standardized 4. Collaborates with all clinical and non-clinical staff within the practices to improve access, capacity, growth and net margin 5. Monitor all financial metrics related to new business plans. 6. Identify areas of opportunities within their service lines and coordinate with stockholders both internal and external to enhance revenue, reduce expenses, and improve the quality of care. 7. Plans, directs and coordinates accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely receipts, disbursements, management and cost reports, and other accounting and financial services, including the installation and direction of maintenance of books of accounts. 8. Ensures accurate financial controls over the financial operations and maintains complete and adequate records for recording all financial transactions and the issuance of periodic reports. 9. Develops specific financial reports from accumulated actual data, and provide cost analysis and reports for special variable situations using operating statistics. Minimum Qualifications 1.Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related discipline with an emphasis on accounting and financial systems; and four (4) years of responsible-level experience in fiscal management or administration with an emphasis on financial systems, management information and controls, three (3) years of which must have been in responsible administrative or managerial capacity; OR 2.Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in disciplines, as listed in “1” above; and five (5) years of experience, as described in “1” above, three (3) years of which must have been in a responsible administrative or managerial capacity. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Master’s degree with a major in accounting, finance or business administration with emphasis on accounting and financial systems from an accredited college or university; and four (4) years of responsible level experience in fiscal management or administration with an emphasis in financial systems, management information and controls, of which at least three (3) years shall have been in responsible administrative or managerial capacity; OR 2. Baccalaureate degree with a major in related fields, as indicated in (1) above, from an accredited college or university; and five (5) years of experience as indicated in (1), of which at least three (3) years shall have been in a responsible administrative or managerial capacity; AND 3. Knowledge of total accounting and financial management both in systems theory and practice; OR 4. A satisfactory equivalent of education, training and experience. However, all candidates must have a minimum of a Baccalaureate degree in disciplines, as listed in “1” above.
