The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in program development and management, along with a passion for fostering positive relationships within the community. This role requires a proactive leader who can effectively supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Responsibilities

  • Responsible for ensuring quality, appropriate and safe programs and services that are consistent with the mission of the agency.
  • Should possess the ability to multi-task and be flexible with job execution in order to deliver required programs and services.
  • Responsible for conducting a “fair share” of in-takes for new participants in accordance with agency procedures and ensure all required paperwork is current, accurate and complete to the best one’s ability.
  • Responsible for participating in a “fair share” of Medicaid Waiver ISP/Lifeplan meetings as deemed necessary.
  • Serve as a positive role model for staff by providing participants with quality care, respect and dignity.
  • Need to conduct self in an appropriate professional manner consistent with agency Code of Conduct.
  • Must be willing to drive Agency Vehicles when needed, with participants as necessary.
  • Responsible for conducting a “fair share” of basic maintenance on the SEC website through WordPress site.
  • Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, staff supervision and evaluation of all programs, activities and reviewing of respite sheets/documents for billing accuracy under your assignment by the Program Director/Senior Program Supervisor and Executive Director.
  • Under the supervision of Program Director/Senior Program Supervisor and Executive Director responsible for developing program budgets, safety budgets, safety plans, goals and objectives consistent with agency codes and regulations.
  • Responsible for working within a budget and maintaining expense records.
  • Under the supervision of Program Director/Senior Program Supervisor and Executive Director responsible for developing new program content.
  • Under the Program Director/Senior Program Supervisor and Executive Director supervision responsible for maintaining participant medicals database.
  • Under the supervision of the Program Director/Senior Program Supervisor and Executive Director, will direct/conduct summer day camp operations.
  • Under the supervision of the Program Director/Senior Program Supervisor and Executive Director, will direct/conduct all aquatics programs.
  • General client account reconciliation through RecDesk.
  • Will perform all other duties and responsibilities within reason at the request of the Executive Director.

Skills Proven experience in program development and management within the field of developmental disabilities. Strong relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders. Excellent administrative skills, including proficiency in documentation and reporting requirements. Knowledge of social work principles and behavioral health practices as they relate to individuals with developmental disabilities. Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment. Strong budgeting skills, with experience managing financial resources within a program context. Ability to communicate clearly and compassionately with individuals receiving services and their families. Must possess a current Class “E” driver’s License to operate agency vehicles. Must be currently certified in at least one of the following: 1. American Red Cross Community First Aid (including adult, infant and child CPR and AED and First Aid) 2. Heart Saver First Aid (including CPR and AED) or 3. CPR for the Healthcare Provider (including adult, child, infant CPR and AED) 4. American Red Cross certification (WSI or Life Saving) for aquatic activities.
