Job Description
Public Works Supervisor City of Gaffney 503 West Rutledge Avenue, Gaffney, SC 29341 Manages, directs, and evaluates assigned staff, processing employee concerns and problems, directing work, counseling, disciplining, and completing employee performance appraisals. Organizes, prioritizes, and assigns work activities to meet objectives, ensures subordinates have the proper resources needed to complete the assigned work, and monitors and inspects work status. Manages the collection services of the city and maintenance, repair, and construction of city roads, bridges, and rights of way. Assists in developing and maintaining division budget. Reports to the Public Works Director and the Assistant Public Works Director.
