The Project Manager - Wastewater will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of wastewater projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory requirements, budget constraints, and timelines.
This role is vital in managing project teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning and implementation of wastewater projects from inception to completion.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to ensure timely delivery.
Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Prepare and present project reports to senior management and other stakeholders.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project delays or cost overruns.
Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date, including contracts, reports, and meeting notes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction or wastewater industry.
Strong understanding of wastewater treatment processes and technologies.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Familiarity with project management software and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members.
Professional certification (PMP or equivalent) is preferred.
