Salary range:

$46,655.00 (minimum) – $66,488.00 (midpoint). Normal work hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Must be flexible to meet the special scheduling needs of the university.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:

Content Strategy:

Contributes to the development and implementation of strategic communication plans and provides creative direction for Auxiliary Enterprises events, programs, campaigns, and initiatives through written, digital, and video content.

Student Supervision:

Supervises and mentors a team of student content creators responsible for executing marketing and communication efforts on behalf of all Auxiliary Enterprises departments. Provides project oversight, feedback, training, and ensures high-quality deliverables that support Auxiliary objectives.

Web Coordination:

Coordinates the content strategy, digital design, and performance of Auxiliary Enterprises web pages, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and accessibility.

Analytics:

Analyzes and interprets communication data and digital analytics to inform content decisions that optimize engagement across social media and web platforms for Auxiliary Enterprises departments. Qualifications

Required:

A bachelor’s degree and professional experience related to the development and dissemination of informational material.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Knowledge of journalistic principles and practices and techniques of disseminating information to the public through news media. Knowledge of the methods and techniques used in planning, composing, editing and producing publications. Knowledge of principles and methods of planning, conducting and supervising large-scale public relations programs. Knowledge of business management practices and procedures. Knowledge of agency programs, policies and procedures. Ability to gather, organize and present oral and written information in a clear, concise and accurate manner. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with the news media and the general public. Ability to supervise subordinate personnel.
