Must forecast, analyze, and report to all levels of management; this includes operational analysis and financial analysis, as well as the linkage between the reporting and analysis functions.
Essential Job Duties Lead Segment-Wide Forecasting & Budgeting:
Direct the end-to-end development of segment-wide budgets, long-range plans, and rolling forecasts with a strong focus on accuracy, timeliness, and strategic alignment. Drive consolidation into cohesive financial outlooks that support executive decision-making and board-level discussions.
Operational & Financial Performance Analysis:
Oversee the development of recurring and ad hoc operational and financial analytics. Deliver executive-ready insights and monthly performance packages that illuminate business drivers, risks, and opportunities across functions and business units. Conduct in-depth P&L and cash flow analysis to provide a comprehensive view of performance, highlight emerging trends, and support proactive decision-making across the segment.
Strategic Business Partnering:
Act as a trusted advisor to operational and functional leaders, enabling deeper understanding of KPIs, unit economics, and productivity drivers. Provide thought leadership that challenges assumptions and enhances financial rigor in decision-making.
Optimize Financial Systems & Models:
Own the design, accuracy, and continuous improvement of financial models and planning/reporting systems. Champion simplification and automation efforts to increase speed, scalability, and reliability of insights.
Executive Decision Support:
Lead cross-functional analytical efforts to support major investments, cost initiatives, pricing strategies, and strategic business cases. Ensure timely and credible financial input to guide high-stakes decisions.
Competitive Benchmarking & Market Intelligence:
Establish a financial benchmarking framework to track performance against peers and industry standards. Lead market analysis initiatives to assess external trends and inform business strategy at the group and segment levels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance:
Partner with Accounting, Treasury, Operations, HR, and other key functions to ensure integrated planning and reporting processes. Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, strong controls, and financial stewardship.
Leadership & Talent Development:
Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing team of FP&A professionals. Promote a culture of curiosity, accountability, and continuous improvement. Other Duties as

Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff. Minimum Requirements Education & Experience Bachelor’s Degree Knowledge expert; typically 7 years+ in specialized profession or equivalent including 4 years+ management experience Experience in Business or Finance. Preferred Requirements No Preferred Education Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole statistical inference, and forecasting. Ability to apply and analyze concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc. Ability to create, maintain and incorporate functions into Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, databases, and Powerpoint presentations to support business objectives. Frequently communicates complex information across departments and interacts with management. Can present, resolve and address delicate situations. Can motivate and persuade others. Problems are varied and complex, requiring analysis or interpretation of the situation. Problems are solved using knowledge and skills, general precedents and practices. Decisions impact the management and operations within a department or business unit. May contribute to business and operational decisions that affect the department. Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment Work is primarily sedentary: must be able to sit for extended periods of time and use a computer, keyboard, and mouse, frequently. Travel may be required periodically, including overnight stays (contingent on position requirements). Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.
