This key leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight of the administrative, financial, IT, and customer service functions for the Parking & Transportation department. Reporting to the Executive Director of Parking & Transportation, the Director plays a critical role in shaping fiscal policy, advancing technology solutions, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences. Ideal candidates are highly organized, detail-driven, and well-versed in administrative functions such as budgeting, compliance, permit management, vendor coordination, and reporting. They have experience navigating the unique regulatory and financial environment of higher education or public service. Candidates excel in process improvement, know how to streamline workflows, and are comfortable managing both people and systems. They bring a strong customer service mindset and a proactive, collaborative approach to support operational teams and university stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all financial operations, including oversight of a $15M annual budget, financial reporting, and revenue optimization strategies. Direct the implementation and integration of parking management technologies to enhance customer service, security, and efficiency. Develop and enforce department-wide policies ensuring regulatory compliance, risk mitigation, and operational consistency. Supervise a team of 30+ staff across customer service, financial operations, and IT, while fostering professional development and collaboration. Contribute to long-term planning efforts to support the evolving transportation and infrastructure needs of the university. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in financial management, parking operations, or transportation administration. Demonstrated knowledge of fiscal oversight, IT systems integration, and team leadership within complex organizations. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in a related field. Experience in a university or large government setting with oversight of large-scale parking and transportation systems.
