Job Summary Plan, develop, and oversee the activities of the aquatics programs as well as the supervise aquatics program staff, ensuring that the mission of The Salvation Army is a top priority in all areas and activities. Ensure that the aquatic programs are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures. Ensure maintenance is scheduled for aquatics equipment including the pool, slide, splash park, and pool decks. Work closely with the Program Director in developing programs for the

based upon on ongoing needs assessment and business plan. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Possess a good understanding of current laws in regard to aquatics programs and keep current with new changes that will affect the aquatics program. Ability to plan, organizes, and prioritizes work in order to accomplish work in compliance with quality standards and deadlines, and departmental policies and procedures. Ability to motivate a spirit of unity, loyalty, and helpfulness within and among staff. Have essential proficiency with Windows & Microsoft Office, which includes Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Education and Experience Four Year Degree in related field and three years of experience supervising an Aquatics program or Any equivalent combination of training and experience which demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions May be required to do minor maintenance on aquatics equipment.
