Snapshot of Daily Duties:
Manage and improve various reporting cycles, leading the monthly forecasting process. Work closely with other members of the finance team on cash management and cash flow forecasting. Support M&A and integration efforts, including due diligence and integrating acquired companies into the One GI structure, reporting framework, process, and timelines. Direct procedures and policies for financial operations. Prepare annual budget/monthly rolling forecasts incorporating strategic goals and objectives of the annual plan. Monitor and analyze budget variances throughout the year, utilize data for updating forecasts, administer and report on approved budget. Work with senior leadership team to develop long-range plans/financial models and policies. Strategically leverage the organization’s resources in support of its mission and goals, contributing to the financial integrity and sustainability of the company. Prioritize and ensure key strategic projects are implemented within budget and timely. Design the long-term strategic plan for capital expenditures via the forward-looking budget management of purchases of IT assets, leasehold improvement, building, fixtures, equipment, and other capital assets. Manage use of corporate funds including budgeting, financial management, and reporting. Manage and forecast cash flows, reinsurance, treasury/investments, and taxes. Provide analytical and reporting support to the entire organization.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, preferably in Finance and /or Accounting required. Master’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related field is required. Seven (7) years in a FP&A role required. Eight (8) years of experience working in healthcare corporate finance is required. Knowledgeable in current Centers for Medicaid/Medicare Services (CMS) required. Excellent financial modeling experience and skills required. Expert skill in financial accounting, cost accounting, and budgeting required. Knowledge of healthcare and provider reimbursement required. Expert knowledge of GAAP and SAP accounting, investments, financial management, Medicare, government health programs, federal and state taxes required. CPA? Great – but not required. Previous leadership experience required
