Purchasing Assistant/Buyer 4BBCorp Hollywood, FL 33022 Job Summary The Assistant Buyer plays a crucial role in supporting the procurement team by managing inventory levels, sourcing materials, and ensuring that the supply chain operates smoothly. This position involves collaborating with various departments to optimize purchasing processes and maintain effective relationships with suppliers. The ideal candidate will have experience in e-commerce and materials management, along with proficiency in relevant systems such as Oracle EBS and AS400. Duties Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness. Manage inventory control processes to maintain optimal stock levels. Utilize MRP systems to forecast demand and streamline purchasing activities. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate timely delivery of materials. Maintain accurate records of contracts, purchase orders, and supplier agreements. Analyze market trends and pricing strategies to inform purchasing decisions. Support the procurement team in negotiating terms and conditions with vendors. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the purchasing process. Requirements Proven experience in e-commerce, inventory control, or materials management. Familiarity with Oracle EBS, AS400, or similar procurement systems is preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess supplier performance and market conditions. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers. Knowledge of logistics processes and contract management is a plus. Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
