We focus on the sourcing and sale of products ranging from industrial equipment, to replacement parts for engines and machinery to construction material. This is a fast-paced and rewarding profession helping not only to stimulate the U.S. economy, but also to increase economic productivity in the developing nations in and around the region.
Responsibilities:
The candidate for this position will be responsible for and must be capable of the following tasks:
- Communicating with clients in the Caribbean
- Generating price quotations for clients
- Generating purchase orders
- Follow-up on purchase orders in order to verify correct items and quantities
- Expediting purchase orders as is necessary
- Finding and qualifying new vendors in order to extend the best prices to clients.
- Daily management of all active purchase orders, verification in receiving of orders placed
- Solving quantity and price differences in orders placed
Requisites:
Ideal candidates possess the following qualities:
- Be computer literate (Microsoft Office, Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
