Purchasing Assistant Hourly Rate:

$22 – $24

Hourly SUMMARY:

Frenchman’s Creek Beach & Country Club is seeking a Purchasing Assistant to support the Purchasing Department with inventory checks, market research, order processing, and vendor communication. The ideal candidate will ensure timely delivery of goods, maintain accurate records, and support department operations efficiently

Key Responsibilities Include:

Receive and process deliveries and shipments Reconcile shipping invoices with receiving reports Refuse incorrect/damaged items Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues Organize and distribute goods to appropriate areas Conduct inventory audits and monitor PAR levels Code and process invoices for approval Maintain accurate records and filing systems Record end-of-month transfers Follow all food safety and handling protocols

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Experience in food & beverage preferred Proficient in Excel and inventory systems Strong written and spoken English skills Ability to solve problems and think analytically

Physical Requirements:

Must regularly lift up to 25 lbs (occasionally up to 50 lbs) Ability to walk, stand, kneel, reach, and climb Must have full range of vision and hearing

Work Environment:

Exposure to varying temperatures and mechanical equipment Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions Moderate noise levels
