Office Assistant Manufacturing AJ Associates Inc 5300 115th Avenue North, Clearwater, FL 33760 AJ Associates Inc., a manufacturer of aerospace spare parts, is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Assistant & Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in aerospace or precision parts production.
Schedule:
Full-time preferred: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday Part-time applicants with flexible availability will also be considered
Key Responsibilities:
Manage inventory: pull parts, organize bins, and update internal systems Kit components for complex assemblies Send RFQs (Requests for Quote) for raw materials, hardware, bearings, tools, and special processes (heat treatment, coatings, NDT, etc.) Provide administrative support to Purchasing, Quality, and Management teams Coordinate shipping activities and create necessary documentation Order tooling and shop supplies Perform receptionist duties, including answering phones and managing messages Track and follow up on open purchase orders with vendors Maintain accurate digital and physical filing systems Monitor and reorder office supplies
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) Strong typing and computer skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Experience in a manufacturing or aerospace setting preferred Familiarity with raw materials, vendor sourcing, and industry terminology is highly valued
