Job Description

Purchasing Clerk 1.5 1.5 out of 5 stars 350 Burbank Road, Oldsmar, FL 34677

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative and clerical support to purchasing department. Prepares reports with a keen eye for accuracy. Follows up with vendors on orders, back orders, and billing questions, ensuring thorough documentation. Performs basic inventory research in the warehouse as needed, demonstrating thoroughness. Partners with A/P clerk to reconcile payable with vendor invoices. Maintains proper files, both electronic and paper, organized and easily accessible. Detail oriented record keeping with Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) Maintains multiple excel spreadsheets on costs by vendor.

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

Basic inventory experience in manufacturing. Strong communication skills- with peers, team environment, management and vendors. Capability to work with various department requiring prompt communication. Ability to follow through to ensure accuracy and completion. Excelled critical thinking skills. Demonstrates effective communication skills.

MANDATORY MS

Excel experience. V-Lookup through Excel. Robust mindset when encountering obstacles. MS Suite. Basic Math calculations. Attention to detail. This position requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in performing data entry tasks. The ideal candidate should have strong organizational skills, basic math knowledge, and be proficient in using Microsoft Excel. Additionally, the candidate should possess excellent communication skills and be able to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. The ability to transcribe information accurately is also important for this role.
