The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring materials and supplies for the company. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to develop and maintain vendor relationships to optimize procurement processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and identify potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely procurement of materials and supplies.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the production team to prevent shortages or overstocking.
Maintain accurate purchasing records, invoices, and reports in compliance with company policies.
Communicate with vendors regarding pricing, delivery schedules, and quality concerns.
Work with internal teams to forecast purchasing needs and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Ensure all purchases meet quality and compliance standards.
