Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management Strong negotiation and communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Able to sit or stand for an 8-hour period Able to lift 40 lbs Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fiel Experience in the manufacturing industry Experience with ERP systems Certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management Experience managing a team
Responsibilities:
Manage the purchasing process from start to finish, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and supplies Oversee the purchasing team and ensure that all purchasing activities are in compliance with company policies and procedures Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the best possible pricing andterms Collaborate with other departments to ensure that purchasing needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner Maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities and provide regular reports to management
Skills:
As a Purchasing Agent up to Manager, you will utilize your strong negotiation and communication skills to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors. You will also use your excellent organizational and time management skills to manage the purchasing process from start to finish. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ERP systems will be essential in maintaining accurate records of all purchasing activities. Additionally, experience in the manufacturing industry and certification in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management will be beneficial in this role.
