Allway Tools is searching for a hands-on Assistant Buyer to work closely with our Purchasing Manager. You will be responsible for placing orders, sourcing goods, managing Chinese suppliers, and maintaining sufficient inventory level.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and replenish stock as needed
- Work closely with sales department and purchase manger to plan and execute purchase orders
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels in the system
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies with orders, deliveries, and invoices
- Process purchase orders and track delivery schedules with vendors
- Contact Chinese vendors for quotes, lead times, and shipping estimates Preferred Qualifications
- Proven work experience as Purchasing Assistant/Buyer or supply chain experience
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese
- Experience with Excel, Word, and ERP computer systems (Microsoft Business Central)
- Experience with Inventory Forecast System is a plus
- Attention to details – analyzing documents and invoices for errors
