Full Job Description Our Company:

BCI Brands designs, sources, and markets nationally and internationally an extensive range of women’s career, casual sportswear, and dresses. Their products are sold through all primary retail distribution levels principally under various trademarks and under private label brand names, such as Ted Baker, Vince Camuto, CeCe, 1.state and Parker.

Responsibilities:

Attending meetings with design/merchandising, sales Daily meetings with the head of the department Ordering proto and sample yardage Create fabric charts and assist all fabric development from

L/D, Y/S

to sy stage Daily communication with mills, vendors, and factories Attending fabric appointments and completing fabric sourcing. Maintain and organize fabric library – file lab dips, sy, linings. Managing tailoring charts, binders, working with NY factories on urgent tailoring samples. Requirements Minimum 1+ year of experience in fabric (and/or textiles) Background in color matching, strike offs, lab dips required Knowledge of fabric construction, finishing, washing Must have clear understanding of fabrications and qualities. Strong written and verbal communication Must be proficient in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and Outlook Strong problem-solving skills; able to proactively recommend solutions. Organized and detail-oriented with strong follow-through. Highly motivated, ability to prioritize workflow, and have good time management skills. Good mill contacts and relationships Enthusiastic and team-oriented The salary range for this full-time position is dependent upon candidate level of experience ranging from $60,000-$65,000.
