Buyer/Planner w/admin support to Office 3.3 3.3 out of 5 stars 500 Ucci Way, Spartanburg, SC 29303 Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our operations by managing various administrative tasks, ensuring smooth workflow, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our organization. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to various departments by managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and organizing documentation. Assist in sourcing and negotiating with vendors for supplies and services to ensure optimal inventory management. Utilize e-commerce platforms to facilitate purchasing processes and manage product listings. Maintain accurate records of inventory levels using MRP systems, including Edwards and Oracle EBS. Collaborate with team members to streamline processes related to buying and selling activities. Prepare reports and presentations as needed, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date. Handle incoming communications, including emails and phone inquiries, directing them to the appropriate personnel. Support special projects as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability. Qualifications Proven experience in an administrative role or similar position is preferred. Familiarity with sourcing, inventory management, and e-commerce practices is a plus. Must have some QuickBooks experience. Prefer to have some buying experience. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with vendors and stakeholders. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to learn new tools and processes.
