Leads by example and makes decisions based on the Mission, Vision, and 4 Core Values of the organization.

Assists with inventory management and ordering of all pharmaceuticals and supplies for the pharmacy.

Assists with yearly fiscal inventory.

Receives and checks in all shipments for correctness and ensuring proper stock rotation.

Receives control substances and delivers to the control substance vault.

Assists with returns of damaged drugs for credit and proper storage.

Responsible for filing purchase orders and all documents pertaining to purchasing.

Assists with ordering supplies from Material Services weekly, and distribution of stock received.

Assumes responsibility for all ordering in the absence of the Purchasing Agent. Places orders for direct shipments weekly. Reviews price information in the computer system and provides pertinent information for product changes.

Reviews/monitors invoices weekly for price changes and updates in the computer system.

Provides the appropriate information for product changes to pharmacy buyer for computer updates.

Coordinates departmental response to recalled medications.

Communicates information on recalled medications to pharmacy staff and affected auxiliary departments and offices.

Removes recalled medications from pharmacy stock.

Collects documentation for all affected areas and forwards to MRMC Recall Coordinator. Returns or destroys recalled medications per manufacturer directions.

Maintains the stock room in a neat and organized manner. Performs monthly departmental drug inspections for out of date products in stock room area.

Removes all cardboard waste daily. Fills daily routine orders for practices within the McLeod physician network.

Fills order for checking and packages securely for delivery. Processes paperwork for billing. Monitors and maintains purchase data in third-party split-billing software. Enters all direct purchases in third-party split-billing software via manual transaction. Monitors mapping in third-party split-billing software to ensure all purchased NDCs are mapped.
