We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchasing Assistant to support our Purchasing Department in confirming purchase orders, invoicing customers, and coordinating drop shipments. This role requires effective communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth operations and outstanding service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Confirm purchase orders, process customer invoices, and manage drop ship orders. Prepare and track orders to be drop-shipped directly to customers. File and maintain records for all special orders. Assist in product sourcing and pricing based on merchandising knowledge. Communicate effectively and professionally with customers, vendors, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate responses. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Customer Service, Transportation, Warehouse, IT, and executive leadership to support procurement operations.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience:
6-12 months of experience in procurement, warehouse, or administrative support in a related field. Strong organizational and communication skills.
