Summary We are seeking a dedicated Sweeper to join our team at SOUTHCO. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various properties through effective power sweeping and landscape maintenance. Your contributions will help uphold our reputation for excellence and reliability. Responsibilities Operate power sweeping equipment to clean parking lots, sidewalks, and other outdoor areas during third shift hours. Getting in and out of the truck several times per night to change trash bags and blow off sidewalks with a handheld or backpack blower. Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Report any issues or concerns regarding property conditions to management. Maintain a safe and organized work environment at all times. Requirements Proven mechanical knowledge related to power tools and equipment operation. Have a valid driver’s license and provide a current 10-year driving record. Be able to pass a DOT physical, background check and pre-employment and random drug screens. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work third shift hours in all seasons and weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
