Blend Operations Associate Woodland Polymers 201 5th Avenue North, Piedmont, AL 36272 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Blender to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for blending materials in accordance with established procedures and quality standards. This role requires a strong understanding of blending processes, as well as the ability to operate various equipment safely and efficiently. The Blender will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet specifications and are produced in a timely manner. Responsibilities
- Operate blending equipment to mix raw materials according to specified formulations.
- Monitor the blending process to ensure consistency and quality of the final product.
- Conduct routine checks and maintenance on blending machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with team members to fabricate and package finished products for distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of blending activities, including batch numbers and material usage.
- Assist with materials handling and inventory management within the warehouse environment.
- Follow safety protocols to minimize risks associated with equipment operation and materials handling. Qualifications
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment is preferred but not needed we will train.
- Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Knowledge of machining processes is beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to blending processes and equipment operation.
