Sports Management Full Job Description Position Overview:

Birmingham Legion FC is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ticket Operations Coordinator to oversee and manage the club’s ticketing systems and operations. This individual will play a critical role in optimizing the ticket sales process, supporting sales staff, and ensuring a seamless experience for fans on matchdays and throughout the season. They will also serve as the main Liaison to BUSA (Birmingham United Soccer Association) and their large scale ticketing partnership with

Birmingham Legion FC Key Responsibilities :
Ticket System Management:

Manage and maintain the ticketing system (Currently Ticketmaster), including event builds, inventory management, pricing, promotions, and reporting. Ensure accurate and timely set-up of all ticketed events, including single-match tickets, season tickets, group sales, and special packages.

Sales Support :

Provide operational support to the ticket sales team, including troubleshooting system issues and customizing reporting dashboards. Collaborate with marketing and sales to implement promotional campaigns and dynamic pricing strategies. Serve as main Laison to BUSA (Birmingham United Soccer Association) and their large scale ticketing partnership with

Birmingham Legion FC Customer Service & Box Office:

Oversee all box office operations on matchdays, including staffing, cash handling, and customer service protocols. Resolve ticketing issues for fans and VIPs in a timely and professional manner.

Reporting & Analytics :

Generate regular sales reports and event analysis to inform strategy and revenue optimization. Track key performance indicators (KPIs)

Compliance & Reconciliation:

Ensure compliance with league regulations and financial reconciliation of ticket revenue with finance staff. Maintain records of all transactions and ticket inventory.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Business, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Experience working with ticketing software platforms such as Ticketmaster or something similar. Strong technical skills with Excel, CRM systems, and data analytics tools. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and matchdays.
