Full Time General Description Creates, plans and schedules based on shop load, period of performance, and lead times per make and buy items. Duties Review routers prior to release.
Review BOMs as needed to help ensure accuracy.
s and distributes manufacturing data packages for assigned projects on scheduled plan release dates.
Attends material review board meetings and help determine root cause and help determine method for correcting nonconformance.
Create and vendor consignment notice and coordinates outside processing.
Work closely and maintain professional relationships with all members of the manufacturing team.
Expedite material from building to building “as required” to assist with production flow.
s develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
Perform a variety of other tasks as needed.
s interpretpany policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Assist Planning department with day to day operations.
Other Duties as assigned Education/Experience requirements Associate degree preferred. Experience may be substituted for degree.
Must have experience and familiarity with ERP/MRP systems. Cost Point experience is preferred.
Requires a minimum of six (2) years of production planning experience.
Must be able to review and understand production routers/BOMS prior to release.
Must have experience in creating and working with Bills of Material and government drawings.
Proficient inmunicating effectively with multiple business and manufacturing disciplines
Possess effective verbal and writtenmunication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel.
General Computer Skills required.
